Annual Maintenance and Support

By retaining OHC’s team of experts to maintain and support your interoperability platform, you can focus your IT team on priority projects and initiatives. This offering includes:

  • Proactive daily/weekly monitoring of your interoperability platform
  • Performing minor system upgrades or customizations
  • Responding and taking action on incoming support requests
  • Application of best practices in support of existing interface messages, research and recovery of messages, and troubleshooting and optimization of existing interfaces

Offering: Twelve months support at 43 hours per month

Project Support – Block of Hours

This offering provides you with the flexibility to respond quickly to projects or initiatives and deliver results when and where you need it most.  Often our clients’ resources are constrained or unable to address new/unplanned projects or requests.  The Project Support offering enables you to quickly deploy our technical professionals to meet those needs without delay.  Our interoperability experts will provide the following:

  • Assume responsibility for small projects involving interface development, testing, documentation, and implementation using industry best practices, on an as-needed basis

Offering: A pre-purchased block of 300 hours to utilize over a twelve-month period

Advisory Services

Discovery / Current State Assessment

When you need to know with confidence what your interoperability environment contains, how it’s performing and where information is being shared/consumed, as well as the overall health of your system, a Current State Assessment is a meaningful tool. Over a 3-week period, our team of interoperability experts will:

  • Conduct a thorough review of your current interoperability environment
  • Assess and document operational processes and workflows
  • Assess your system support resources
  • Deliver a final report with findings/recommendations to achieve optimal efficiency and best practices

Interoperability Roadmap

An Interoperability Roadmap serves as a guide to future state interoperability in support of information exchange and outreach initiatives.  By looking at your current and future state needs, we will evaluate your competitive landscape and comparable organizations to ensure you have the capacity and resources to expand and grow.  Over a 10 to 12-week period, our team of interoperability experts will:

  • Perform a thorough review of your current interoperability platform
  • Deliver a Roadmap detailing current state of interoperability
  • Assist with the outreach to providers within the community who are favorable to connectivity and information exchange
  • Present an executable plan inclusive of costs, timelines and effort

Interface Engine System Selection

This offering is designed for those organizations that are planning to move to a new scalable platform and require assistance in finding the right solution to meet their organizational needs.  Over a 6-week period, OHC will:

  • Provide guidance in selecting the appropriate interoperability platform (or interface engine) to support the growth and expansion of your health system
  • Perform an initial assessment of your current systems key requirements and desired end state
  • Develop and issue a formal RFP to industry-leading vendors, score and cost vendor responses, and deliver a final report with recommendations
