Software Integration Projects for Mid October 08 |
Here are some highlights from some of the projects that Orchestrate Healthcare is working on for our clients during October:
- Implemented new interfaces on Siemens OpenLink version 23.4.4 platform. Siemens INVISION to Sectra, Sectra to Dicom/Hologic, Siemens INVISION to Starvascular, Starvascular to Siemens LCR, Cerner Radiology Orders to OSI, OSI Results to OSI, Cerner to OSI Voice Capture Provation, MUSE, XCelera, Starvascular, Cardiology to Labtest and Touch works, Custom Soarian Scheduling transaction to INVISION. Also providing solutions and assisting in the support of client’s ongoing production integration operations.
- Participated in the integration of Staffware’s Business Process Management (BPM) software with Siemens Openlink 23 integration engine.
- Trained end-users (Providers, Chiefs, Champions, Nurses, Department Heads, Administrators, Hospitalists, Surgeons) for Epic Clindoc, MedSurg, Orders, e-Mar, L&D, Procedures, Optime, ED, Intraop/PostOp, SmartTools, Cybercafe, and one-on-one.
- Design/Development of ADT, Order, Results, Charges eGate Interfaces to Support Conversion of HAR to CSN in Epic
- Design/Development of Charge Routers from IDX (Radiology), Coderyte, HDM, Omnicell, RadOnc, Ibex, Copath and Cerner to Epic Billing (Resolute).
- Completed the proof of concept for Migration of eGate 5.0.5 SRE interfaces to Sun JCAPS 5.1.3.
- Development of interfaces from PCS Clinical System to McKesson Pathways Med Pharmacy.
- Worked on mappings to convert X12 837 transactions to Mainframe format in Java, outside of SeeBeyond
- Implemented X12 templates 4030/4040/4051 and mapping for both the 873/874 outbound and inbound transaction sets in Java & Monk versions.
- Created OTDs ‘otd_GVH_PYXIS' and ‘otd_PHAMIS_ADT' in Java CAPS 5.1.3 using ‘Phamis_ADT.ssc' and ‘GVH_Pyxis.ssc' files from DataGate 3.6.2 respectively.
- Created projects ‘prj_LWADT_TO_CTECH' , ‘prj_LWADT_TO_DEXTER' , ‘prj_LWADT_TO_ESI_KH' , ‘prj_LWADT_TO_GLUCOSE' , ‘prj_LWADT_TO_GVH_PYXIS' and ‘prj_LWADT_TO_HDM' in Java CAPS 5.1.3 using different translations of DataGate 3.6.2
- Completed preliminary testing for the JCAPS 5.1.3 projects created.
- Mentor Nick for creating a Java Collaboration Definition in Java CAPS 5.1.3
- Attended kick off meeting for Picis Case study documents to Sovera project
- Reviewed and discussed Picis specs with Interface Analyst in training
- Trained Interface Analyst on the creation and process of developing a new interface
- Assisted Interface Analyst in deleting large amount of unwanted transactions from JMS queue
- Developed Perl script to delete ranges of messages from JMS queue
- Reviewed documentation prepared for distribution to Operations concerning addition of new Participating Host
- Assisted in troubleshooting and resolution of a corrupted IQ within eGate
- Continue testing sftp process to New England Research Institute (NERI) in Boston. Another issue came up related to this process “hanging” after a certain amount of time while sending a large amount of data. I found this was related to the server at NERI requesting a “session rekey”. A rekey can be requested after a certain amount of data has been transferred (usually 1 GB), or a certain amount of time has passed (usually 1 hour). Because the datasets sent to NERI are very large (> 1.5 GB/study), a rekey is requested. The perl sftp scripts that are called from SRE cannot handle the rekey logic, so the process hangs. These perl scripts use the standard modules Net::SFTP and Net::SSH. These modules cannot handle the rekey request. NERI is researching whether the rekey packets can be filtered form their side.
- Continue developing SRE 5.0.5 U1 upgrade plan.
- Testing the ADT data of a project client (partner hospital)
- Re-establishing the connections
- Looking for invalid records received from partner hospitals and making corrections and resending those records for processing.
- Adding new physician in datamap
- Resolving eGate alerts and fixing the runtime errors.
- Making changes in physician ID number to fix invalid ID data problem.
