Software Integration Projects for Mid November 08

Here are some highlights from some of the projects that Orchestrate Healthcare is working on for our clients.

  • Developed new interface in JCAPS 5.1.3 from Epic to downstream Omnicell system using HL7 2.4
  • Created test case template and HL7 table mapping documents (for Epic tables) for testing HL7 interfaces from Epic & Meditech to various downstream systems.
  • Assisted Interface Analyst in troubleshooting eGate Control Broker failing to start.
  • Created new Participating Host in eGate TEST Schema for second time capturing screen shots for documentation purposes.
  • Provided instruction to Interface Analyst on the correct process for deleting an eWay and all of its components from a schema.
  • Provided instruction to Interface Analyst in training on how to search for specific HL7 messages in eGate Production logs.
  • Moved eWays and IQ Managers designated as “batch” to Control Broker under new Participating Host in eGate TEST schema.
  • Modified Perl script, developed for converting eGate Monk code into readable English, to run from command line prompt on UNIX server.
  • Work with Sun on install error in U1 (process “hangs”). The latest thing Sun wants tried is to install U1 with no anti-virus software running on the PC. I doubt this will make a difference but I’ll give it a try.
  • Write new start script for Nursing Compass sftp process. The new ksh script will re-direct stdout and stderr to a disk file for debugging. The Nursing Compass sftp process dies occasionally during a send. The information from stderr should give us more information the next time this happens. The error occurs about once every 2 weeks
  • Continue testing perl script that will monitor certain batch processes that run outside of eGate. This monitor will send out email notifications when it detects a batch process that is running for an unusually long period of time.

We are testing the interfacing created earlier and list of interfaces tested this week are as follows:

  1. prj_LWADT_TO_XIMWITT
  2. prj_LWADT_TO_WITTGV
  3. prj_LWADT_TO_VST
  4. prj_LWADT_TO_SSURV
  5. prj_LWADT_TO_QMI
  6. prj_LWADT_TO_PACS
  7. prj_LWADT_TO_INTERNALBUFFER
  8. prj_LWADT_TO_HDM
  9. prj_LWADT_TO_MEDAP
  10. prj_LWADT_TO_IMPAC
