Healthcare Technical Services Projects in February |

Here are some highlights from some of the projects that Orchestrate Healthcare is working on for our clients:
- Reviewed process with Interface Analyst on how to configure TCP/IP, File, and FTP eWays.
- Instructed Interface Analyst on some of the most commonly used Unix commands
- Explained the specifics of how to create and configure HL7 data structure using eGate ETD Editor
- Had Interface Analyst complete SeeBeyond End2End scenario and explain outcome
- Instructed Interface Analyst on how to test TCP/IP interfaces utilizing Interface Explorer software
- Reviewed administration of Intelligent Queues using IQ Administrator GUI
- Performed and explained the usage of Module Export/Import functionality
- Prepare for U1 upgrade to PROD_SCHEMA next week.
- Attended meeting regarding JCAPS upgrade and which hardware/OS options are available. It appears we’ll have to use either Windows or Linux if we go with JCAPS v6. We can use HP-UX if we go with JCAPS 5.1.3. Also downloaded versions 5.1.3 and 6.0 from Sun website, burn disks, and send to Joe at Children’s
- Work with Joe on IQ Mgr problems in PROD_SCHEMA (“iq-put” exceptions being thrown from several eWays).
Type of issues worked on:
- Contacting system administrators of external system to provide connectivity
- Re-establishing the connections
- Looking for invalid records received from partner hospitals and making corrections and resending those records for processing.
- Reprocessing the old records
- Adding new physician in datamaps
- Resolving eGate alerts and fixing the runtime errors.
- Running IDX interfaces.
- Testing the inbound data from partner hospital due to changes in interfaces and submit the test report.
- Making changes in datamap files in development environment.
