Healthcare Technical Services Projects for Sept 26 |
- Transolutions New Report Type – Worked with the team to identify the e*Gate components used to support Transolutions testing for the client’s conversion. Documented the e*Gate modules and data flow which was spread across 3 e*Gate test schemas. Turned on Meditech interfaces, activated e*Gate modules, cleared some previously queued ADT traffic, then ran pilot tests for both the ADT and ORU interfaces prior to integrated testing in order to confirm that messages would flow successfully for both interfaces. Registered a test ADT patient to use for testing, ensured that the ADT message was successfully sent to Transolutions and contacted a representative to inform him of readiness to receive a test report. Subsequently, supported the testing of the new report type back from Transolutions, had to work with their representative to make some adjustments to the MR and Account numbers which were not formatted for DM.TEST. Ultimately, completed successful filing of the report into DM.TEST and informed the team, requesting review the test patient’s report to confirm proper formatting, etc.
- Heartland Cardiology Lab Results – Per request, completed modification to “Providers” data map and collaboration rule class to add a provider to the lab results filter. Subsequently, confirmed that this provider’s ordered lab results were now being sent to Medinformatix.
- Heartland Cardiology Lab Results – Per request, filtered out lab results for inpatients, sent list of Meditech patient types requesting identification of specific patient types that the client wants to filter out. Received confirmation from that the client would review the list with the staff of providers and get back with specific filter change request based on the list of Meditech patient types.
- Heartland Cardiology Lab Results – Worked at length to identify the issue preventing a VPN tunnel connection from the e*Gate production server (AEGT15) to the Medinformatix server. Subsequently, successfully completed move of support for this interface to AEGT15 once we successfully reconfigured the VPN tunnel to correct the issue.
- Heartland Cardiology Lab Results – Per request, completed creation of e*Gate TEST and PROD server IP Address inventory document. Requested and received confirmation that the list was correct and complete. Subsequently, sent the completed to additional member’s on the client team, requesting that they update the VPN tunnel to accommodate/allow connections to/from each of the IP Addresses in the list.
- Transolutions New Report Types – Worked to identify an issue with the new report types (SJMCOP, SJMCCON and SJMCHP) that was preventing the reports from filing into Meditech. Each of the report’s OBR.20 (Meditech Report Department) value was empty/null and therefore throwing errors when the Meditech inbound reports HL7 interface attempted to process the messages.
- MedMined – Updated the e*Gate ADT interface data flow design document to reflect corrected object naming (eWays, Collaborations, Event Types, etc.). Created the first draft of both the LAB and RX interface data flow design documents.
- New Client onsite visit. Participated in multiple Unit testing calls and attended their integration test meeting. Scheduled to receive specification next week for review.
