Healthcare Technical Services Projects for June 27 |
- NPR Extract to MIDAS Abstracting – Received first test NPR Extract file from our Client and completed a detailed review of the content. Subsequently identified a series of changes that would be required to convert the NPR Extract’s date/time fields to the HL7 “TS” data type format. Also identified the new 05 record type that was defined by our client to support CPT procedure code within the extract. Completed changes for both date/time formatting and completed changes to support the new 05 record type then tested the changes using the test extract file provided.
- NPR Extract to MIDAS Abstracting – Identified a short list of fields that we will most likely have to add to the NPR Extract and sent a summary status email to the team where these items were listed for future discussion. The list of fields includes additional patient address data fields, patient status, accommodation code and reason for visit.
- NPR Extract to MIDAS Abstracting – Sent an email regarding the quotation (“) characters that wrap each of the fields in the NPR Extract file. I asked our client if it would be possible to suppress/remove the quotation characters because if not, these characters will have to be stripped off within the e*Gate transformation code for this interface. Currently waiting on response concerning this.
- eartland Cardiology PSJMC Lab Results – Completed move/build of all e*Gate components for this interface to the e*Gate TEST environment (AEGT03/AEGT03). Created HL7 TCP/IP Outbound e*Way for the delivery of HL7 messages to Medinformatix application at remote site. Created File e*Way for storing a copy of all HL7 messages delivered to Medinformatix application. Created Bridge “JMS Push” e*Way for moving Meditech Medical Center lab results from the TEST “EICU” schema to the TEST “PhysicianIntegration” schema. Turned on the TEST the Medical Center Meditech outbound lab results interface and confirmed that six lab result messages were successfully processed to the File e*Way’s output file.
- Remote Cardiology Lab Results – Sent email to Analyst for this interface requesting a list of Meditech provider mnemonics for this site’s Cardiology. Subsequently received the complete list from the Analyst and implemented changes to the “RemoteProviders.dat” data map file based on the list of provider mnemonics. Completed a series of tests to confirm that the data filter logic against “RemoteProviders.dat” was functioning properly by filtering out any messages where a Remote Site Provider does not fill at least one role (Admitting/Attending/Consulting/Ordering) for a given lab result message.
- Remote Site Cardiology Reports – Completed development and unit testing of the additional collaboration and transformation script to support sending the Medical Center’s Meditech departmental reports to Medinformatix at the Remote Site. Sent an email to Analyst requesting the list of these Medical Center Meditech report type (work type) mnemonics for this interface based on the generic list of reports requested for inclusion in this interface.
- Perform interface related aspects of integrated testing using 12 scripts and interfacing to 17 ancillary systems.
- Did unit and Interface testing and did some changes based on the result
- Incorporated the testing of patches few patches on one eManager for our client.
- Successful testing of 3 paches. Applied these 3 patches on 20 eManagers and 50 domains.
- Completed the second cycle of Integrated testing, involving 18 integrated scripts/work flows. Began work on the defining the scope of the systems to be moved/accessed in New Acute Care Pavilion schedule to open soon. Participated 15 scope measurement meeting with SME on the individual systems and built three scope documents.
