Healthcare Technical Services Projects for Aug 8 |
- Assisted in strategic planning of moving current JCAPS 5.1.3 TEST installation to new hardware located at Disaster Recovery site
- Provided input on outlined steps involved in moving JCAPS 5.1.3 TEST installation
- Prepared and sent notification to ancillary systems of IP Address change on JCAPS 5.1.3 TEST
- Modified environment Integration Servers and JMS IQ Manager properties to new server name
- Corrected Domain.xml files for each domain to point at new localhost name
- Assisted in adding Integration Servers in eManagers located on new server
- Modified Collaboration Rule Script in eGate 5.0.5 SRE for Loxogon ADT interface to send Paragon ADT as received
- Performed Unit testing of Loxogon ADT interface in eGate 5.0.5 SRE
- Completed Ensemble interface Radiology orders and results to RAPC
- Performed testing of Radiology orders and results to RAPC interface in Ensemble
- Provided inputs on hardware/platform change for the current test and future production.
- Provided inputs on pros and cons because of platform change.
- Did the complete planning (step by step) of the move.
- Took the backup of the existing environment and compressed for maximum storage utilization.
- Moved the current dev/test environment to the new hardware and installed all the basics required.
- Installed the Repository and all the emanagers (about 25) as service. and started them.
- Some changes required in components because IP address is changed.
- Communicated with down streams of my interfaces for the IP change.
- Confirmed that everything is running fine after the change.
- Did some changes in the Interfaces as requested on conf call.
- Build and deployed to apply the change.
- Completed preliminary ADT interface to Meddate.
- Comleted interface to store ADT to Cache table for Novopath using Intersystems Ensemble
- Completed follow up with client on ePI capabilities
- Completed site visit to perform technical analysis in preparation for state wide Health Information Exchange.
- Using test ORU/Report messages from the DM.TEST environment, prepared set of test messages, one for each report type supported by the FV reports interface. Subsequently completed testing of each test report message client.
- Per integrated testing feedback from client, completed changes to e*Gate data map file that controls the FV report description’s associated with each FV report type. Client wanted to remove the “E SIGN” and “LIPMAN” prefixes from the default Meditech report descriptions that contained them.
- Completed production implementation plan for the new and temporary NPR Extract interface. Subsequently completed the production implementation.
- Worked with client to adjust the e*Gate schedule to support the manual runs of the NPR Extract until such time that the client can automate/schedule the NPR Extract to run daily. Generally supported the first two manual NPR extracts from DM.LIVE and communicated to team a breakdown of the MR/Acct pairs with detailed record counts by data type for the first test run.
- Completed production implementation plan for the State of Illinois interface changes. Subsequently completed the production implementation.
- Completed production implementation plan for the FV interface changes. Subsequently completed the production implementation.
- Powerscribe – Worked to configure and implement e*Gate interface support for the Powerscribe test environment.
- Powerscribe – Received email report from client regarding some reports that were not filing successfully into Meditech from Powerscribe. Researched the ORM and ORU message traffic for each accession provided. Subsequently identified two separate issues. The first issue that a small percentage of ORU/reports were being sent from Powerscribe with empty/null Medical Record Number (PID.3) The second issue that a very small percentage of reports were being rejected (Unmarshal exception) within e*Gate because they contained a character that was not part of the standard US-ASCII character set (accented character é).
- Powerscribe – Worked at length to ultimately identify that there was a bug in the Powerscribe software that was causing a small percentage of reports to be returned with an empty/null Medical Record Number. This was subsequently fixed on the Powerscribe with a code change.
- Powerscribe– Completed e*Gate changes and unit testing to resolve the issue that caused e*Gate to throw unmarshal exceptions for ORU/Report messages from Powerscribe containing characters defined out side the US-ASCII character set. The change was to implement support for UTF-8 (as replacement for default US-ASCII) for the un-marshal and marshal method calls within the ORU collaboration for this interface. UTF-8 supports an extended character (including accented character é) that is backwards compatible with US-ASCII.
- Powerscribe– Worked with client to review/research the existing set of e*Gate interface collaboration rules that support the Meditech / PACS ADT/Orders interfaces. Subsequently completed 75% of the e*Gate coding and unit testing to implement support via e*Gate ELS for the Meditech cancel order process that involves linking up a Meditech cancel order (CA) message with a Meditech order update (XO) message.
