Here are some highlights from some of the projects that Orchestrate Healthcare is working on for our clients.
  • Performed demonstration on the usage of the JMS IQ Administrator
  • Completed client documentation on Perl script designed to delete range of Topics from JMS IQ
  • Completed client documentation outlining the format for charge files destined for SMS Invision
  • Assisted in troubleshooting reason for errors received from SMS Invision after implementation of new eGate Monk code to include Diagnosis information.
  • Assisted in troubleshooting why new batch eWay configuration was not working properly.
  • Attended meeting with other hospital Systems Analyst to determine if the blocking of specific eligibility HL7 messages from Epic to SMS was beneficial.
  • Modified eGate Monk code in TEST environment to block HL7 eligibility messages from Epic from going to SMS Invision.
  • Researched internet and SeeBeyond user’s list for possible causes and solutions of eGate Server performing automatic reboots since the addition of second Participating Host.
  • Created OTDs ‘otd_A01_SCM_OUTBOUND',' otd_A02_SCM_OUTBOUND'.' otd_A13_SCM_OUTBOUND',' otd_A18_SCM_OUTBOUND',' otd_DICTAPHONE_ADT',' otd_SPA_ADT' in JCAPS 5.1.3 using ETDs present in DataGate 3.6.2
  • Created JCDs for ‘prj_LWADT_TO_DICTAPHONE',' prj_LWADT_TO_INTERNALBUFFER',' prj_LWADT_TO_SCM',' prj_LWADT_TO_SPA',' prj_LWADT_TO_SSURV',' prj_LWADT_TO_TEMPUS',' prj_LWADT_TO_VST',' prj_LWADT_TO_WITT',' ‘prj_LWADT_TO_WITTGV',' prj_LWADT_TO_XIMWITT' in JCAPS 5.1.3 using translations present in DataGate 3.6.2
  • Completed initial testing for OTDs and JCDs
  • Move Cerner to Telcor ADT interface to production. The move went smoothly and the interface has been up and running all week. Telcor is holding off on their go-live for 2 more weeks to allow their database to “sync-up” with SunQuest. A last minute request came in from Telcor to send all current Cerner in-patients through the interface to their application (Telcor’s). After investigating this it was found there’s nothing on Cerner that could easily trigger all inpatients through the interface, short of going in and touching each record. There are also archives of all Cerner ADT transactions on eGate, but it was decided this wasn’t the best place for Telcor to get this information. It would require building resend files from many days worth of archives, outpatients would have to be filtered out, etc. Instead, the Telcor people decided for a 2 week delay in their go-live. This will give them time to fully populate their inpatient database.
  • Begin 5.0.5 U1 upgrade on my laptop. This is the first step in upgrading Children’s SRE install. They are currently seeing problems in java collaborations, jms queues, etc due to ESRs that have never been installed. The U1 upgrade contains all of the ESRs that CHM requires. So far I’ve seen a couple of problems with the upgrade. The install process was unable to remove the old registry host service before attempting to upgrade an existing SRE environment. This caused the install to fail. After researching this I ended up removing my current copy of SRE and then installing U1 into a “clean” environment. This resolved the problem. It looks like before we upgrade any of the eGate hosts at CHM, we’ll first have to backup all existing schema’s, and then uninstall the current version of SRE. I also saw problems when installing a certain eWay and ETD library, but neither of these are used by CHM and this shouldn’t be an issue.
  • Re-establishing the eGate connections
  • Looking for invalid records received from partner hospitals and making corrections and resending those records for processing.
  • Adding new physician group in datamap
  • Resolving eGate alerts and fixing the runtime errors.
  • Making changes in physician ID number to fix invalid ID data problem.
  • Attending conf. call with partner clinic to test the code changes in interfaces.
