NextGen EHR

NextGen’s Electronic Health Record uses pre-built clinical templates and workflow for over 25 specialties to ensure complete, accurate documentation stored in a standard format. It also includes disease management templates that capture discrete data at the point of care to meet clinical reporting guidelines for pay-for-performance programs.  Another application is electronic prescriptions. ePrescribing  automatically checks prescriptions against a patient’s medications and allergies. NextGen HER and production suites enable consistent, real-time clinical and administrative workflow among providers, hospitals, and patients.

Practice Management

This is a windows based system for practice management providing user friendly technology for practices to manage appointments, billing, and other administrative processes, improving cash flow and productivity.  This is accomplished using features like the WorkLog Manager, which monitors and responds in real-time, events occurring in the system by sending tasks to designated staff with step by step instructions on what to do next. Allow s the tracking of completed and outstanding tasks to measure performance with detailed and definitive reporting.

Clinicals

NextGen has a power suite of clinical applications that resides on an active web 2.0 platform for a true Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). These clinical applications include clinical/physician documentation, Medication Administration, Physician Portal, Clinical Data Repository, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, Therapy Management and Mobility.

Financials

A financial and administrative system that helps hospitals significantly improve the smart operations and financial and regulatory management of their facilities, which is fully integrated and includes ADT, Registration, Master Patient Index (MPI), Payroll, HR, Time & Attendance, Enterprise Scheduling, Document Management, Decision Support, Patient Accounting, General Ledger, Budgeting along with the management of Fixed Assets.

Patient Portal

Allows the clinician to communicate with patients online and import information directly into the NextGen EHR. Their advanced patient-provider portal promotes an interactive continuum of care between the patient and the practice, facilitating effective electronic communication and clinical data exchange.

Health Information Exchange (HIE)

Exchanges patient data securely with community healthcare organizations. Originally called NextGen Community Health Solutions (CHS), it provides a highly secure data exchange and repository that stores, displays, and exchanges complete patient records and allows a community with participating practices using EHRs outside the NextGen Healthcare enterprise to easily exchange community data.
