HealthCare Software Projects for End of October 08

Posted by admin in IDX interfaceseGate

Here are some highlights from some of the projects that Orchestrate Healthcare is working on for our clients.
  • Modified crsSOFTLAD_ORM_XLATE to loop through ZOR.18 field on inbound SMS message to accommodate SoftLab requirements.
  • Developed Perl script to give summary of the number eGate Components running from the Schema.
  • Assisted in removing new Participating Host for eGate Schema to eliminate it as a reason for the server rebooting.
  • Discussed and developed a plan with Interface Analyst to reload eGate TEST schema from exports.
  • Met with Interface Analyst and System Analyst to discuss open Epic tickets and course of action to take on them.
  • Performed analysis on proposed solution of Epic tickets.
  • Move ECHO PDF to Cerner ERMX interface to production. This interface sends ekg data to Cerner via secure ftp. The move to production went smoothly and the interface has been up and running since the 28th.
  • Test 5.0.5 U1 upgrade on my laptop. I ran certain java collaborations before the upgrade and after and used the output from these to detect any differences in functionality that were caused by the upgrade. So far everything looks good. There have been a couple of issues with the install on-site at Children’s. I worked with Joe Pinotti to resolve these. There is still one issue with installing add-ons from disks 4 & 5 of the U1 upgrade. The install process cannot verify with the registry host the password for user “Administrator”. This is strange as the same install process is used on other disks in this upgrade, but only 4 & 5 have this problem. I’m currently checking with Sun Support about this.
  • Disaster recovery meeting on 10/29. I will work with Joe P. so we have coverage during the test.
  • Re-establishing the eGate 4.5.3 connections
  • Running IDX interfaces to send data to eGate system
  • Looking for invalid records received from partner hospitals and making corrections and resending those records for processing.
  • Adding new physician group in datamap
  • Resolving eGate alerts and fixing the runtime errors.
  • Making changes in physician ID number to fix invalid ID data problem.
  • Attending conf. call with partner clinic to resolve interface connection issue.
  • Written new utility class to wrap all the utilities and named it "com.kmc.utils.KMCUtil".
  • Modified all existing code to include the utility class.
  • Completed preliminary testing for all the translations which are created as of now with new utility class including.
