Software Projects for mid-January 09

Here are some highlights from some of the projects that Orchestrate Healthcare is working on for our clients.
  • End-to-End testing of Epic to Meditech and Epic to ChartMaxx ADT interfaces
  • Analysis and Unit testing of HL7 messages by entering patient demographic data in Epic Hyperspace and verifying that the data was transformed and successfully acknowledged by Meditech NMI for the Epic to Meditech ADT interface
  • Coordination of activities with client Business Analysts and SMEs for interface issue resolution (building translation tables in Epic) and obtaining clarifications
  • Continued End-to-End testing of Epic to Meditech and Epic to ChartMaxx ADT interfaces
  • Developed new transcription interfaces (MDM and ORU) from ChartMaxx to Epic,
  • Coordination of activities with Epic developers for interface issue resolution and obtaining clarifications
  • Successfully completed end-to-end testing for Epic to Meditech ADT HL7 and Epic to ChartMaxx ADT HL7 interfaces
  • ·reated and updated interface test documentation for ADT, Orders and Results interfaces
Number of Service desk requests created: 13
Number of issues resolved: 16
 
Type of issues worked on:
  1. Contacting system administrators of external system to provide connectivity
  2. Re-establishing the connections
  3. Looking for invalid records received from partner hospitals and making corrections and resending those records for processing.
  4. Reprocessing the old records
  5. Adding new physician in datamap
  6. Resolving eGate alerts and fixing the runtime errors.
  7. Running IDX interfaces.
  8. Attending conf. call of partner hospital to test the new interfaces.
